Matt was born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, where he attended public school as well as college and flight school.
He became interested in flying due to the influence of his father, who was an international pilot, flying Senior Captain for a major airline.
He earned his Commercial Pilot's license and also became a Certified Flight Instructor;
He flies everything from the smallest single engine plane to Jets. He does and is trained in aerobatic/stunt flying and is rated for seaplanes also.

Matt became interested in modeling when approached by an agent while vacationing in Miami's South Beach area. He attended a model search in Chicago, where he was contacted in follow-up by 23 different agents, both domestic and international. Although he has lived in New York, Chicago, Miami, and Milan and all over Europe he currently resides in Los Angeles.

In addition to flying charter for various companies, He also does Air Ambulance medical evacuation flights & Angel flights. He continues to be a certified flight instructor (and has earned the nickname "Jett" from his friends in the entertainment industry).

His modeling career takes him around the globe on a regular basis for runway shows and print work/campaigns He is represented by numerous agencies, both domestic and abroad and is currently attending acting classes while auditioning for TV and film roles.
